About us
In 1973, under the leadership of Fritz Froihofer, young girls and boys joined together to form a dance and music group in order to revitalise folk dance and genuine folk music in their homeland and to preserve it in its authentic form.
Folk dance courses are held time and again and dance events are organised in order to pass on this valuable cultural asset to a large circle of interested people. The autumn and Easter dances, as well as the autumn dance, are fixed points in Fischbach’s cultural life.
In addition to folk dances, our boys are also masters of snappy “Schuhplattler”, “Goaßlschnalzen” (whips) and Poschen.
We also like to establish friendly contacts within Austria and beyond the borders of our country.
